So...This cutesy Manhua has some incest tones in it. I mean, I'm just saying and I'm not complaining since I'm fine with that stuff.
I know that's the tricky part here ... I don't know how author will turn this brotherly love to you know what. Technically they are half brother but I'm kinda waiting off how author wanna pull this off. Are they going incest route or there is a plot twist... Hahaha
I bet the father didn't even do a blood test, ML's mother made a scandal, probably died and Media/reporters made him accept ML as his son even though they aren't related

I think that's because the magic effect is nullified since Qin realised that is Wangyi but .. Wangyi thought the magic is still on.. so he is confident that he is looking alike the FL.. only Qin and us, the reader know the the magic is no longer in effect..
